LiveFleet release notes - Version 4.1.13 - 15-Nov-2019

LiveFleet release notes - Version 4.1.13 - 15-Nov-2019

"Raise a Case" option for customers to create a complaint in our Dynamics CRM application

The "Raise a Case" button now allows our customers to create a complaint. Once a customer records a complaint via LiveFleet, an email will be sent to the primary Relationship Manager in the CRM platform. You can find more details here.

Changes in the Voyage menu section

We made several improvements to the Voyage menu section. Here is what is new:

Direct integration between Voyage PAL and LiveFleet

LiveFleet (and CWA before that) used to support multiple data sources for noon reports, including Dynamarine and an Excel-based format used mainly by the Eastern SMCs. When the Voyage PAL module was first released, we added a configuration screen for the SMCs to define the date on which the Voyage PAL data should start getting reflected in LiveFleet.

Voyage PAL is now the only data source for all vessels managed by BSM, so there is no need to maintain this process.
The configuration page "CWA Voyage Integration" is now disabled. The Voyage data is immediately visible in LiveFleet based on the First Log date.

New menu structure in the Voyage section

You will now find more information, clearly split into dedicated pages:

  1. Port Calls - This replaces the page previously called Arrival/Departure. This was just renamed for clarity. The content of the page did not change.
  1. Operational Performance - This includes the following tabs:
    1. ME Operational Performance
    2. Fuel Consumption Summary
    3. Slip
    4. SFOC/SCOC
  1. Environmental Performance - This includes the following tabs:
    1. Average EEOI
    2. Emissions
    3. Garbage Log
    4. MARPOL Log

ME Operational Overview

This graph is based on PAL → Voyage → Performance Overview → Performance Overview

Speed (Knots): The Speed Over Ground of the vessel as measured by the GPS in knots.

Consumption (MT/24 hrs): The Fuel Oil Consumption of the Main Engine in MT per day.

Power (kW): The average Main Engine power output for the given day.

RPM: The Main Engine average rotational speed per day.

Fuel Consumption Summary

This graph is based on PAL → Voyage → Performance Overview → Total Consumption Tab

ME Cons: The Fuel Oil Consumption of the Main Engine in MT.

AE Cons. The Total Fuel Oil Consumption of the Auxiliary Engines in MT.

Aux Boiler: The Fuel Oil Consumption of the Auxiliary Boiler in MT.

Total Cons. The Total Fuel Oil Consumption of the Main Engine, Auxiliary Engines and the Auxiliary Boiler in MT.

Slip

This graph is based on the Slip tab in  PAL → Voyage → Performance Overview → Slip Tab

Speed (Knots): The average Speed Over Ground of the vessel as measured by the GPS in knots.

Slip (%): Slip is considered as the difference between the speed of the engine and actual speed of the ship per day. Positive or negative slip values depends on the propeller and hull fouling as well as the environmental conditions (wind, wave, current)

RPM: The average rotational speed of the propeller.

 SFOC/SCOC

This graph is based on PAL → Voyage → Performance Overview → SFOC/SCOC Tab

ME ISO SFOC (g/kWh): The average value of Main Engine Specific Fuel Oil Consumption after ISO corrections.

AE ISO SFOC (g/kWh): The average value of Auxiliary Engines’ Specific Fuel Oil Consumption after ISO corrections.

ME SCOC (g/kWh): The average value of Main Engine Specific Cylinder Oil Consumption, where:
    1. Calculated SCOC is result of the ship’s daily consumption and the ME energy output
    2. Reported SCOC is the ME setpoint as configured by the Chief Engineer

Average EEOI

This graph is based on the Emissions tile in PAL → Voyage → Voyage Overview → Average EEOI (gCO2/MTnm)

The Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator (EEOI) is the ratio of the mass of CO2 emitted per a specified work unit. The EEOI value is dependent on the amount and type of fuel consumed, the amount of cargo carried and the distance that the cargo was carried.

Emissions

This graph is based on the Emissions tile in PAL → Voyage → Voyage Overview → Emissions (MT)

CO2 (MT) The average value of CO2 emitted, calculated by the Fuel Consumed and Carbon factor for respective fuel type per month in MT.

SOx (MT) The average value of SOx emitted, calculated by the fuels’ Sulphur Content [%] and Fuel Mass Consumption [MT] per month in MT.

NOx (MT) The average value of NOx emitted, calculated by ships’ individual engine NOx emission factors and the Fuel Mass Consumption [MT] of the Main engine and Auxiliary engines per month MT.

Garbage Log

This graph is based on the Garbage Log tile in PAL → Voyage → Voyage Overview → Garbage Log (m3)

Garbage includes all kinds of food, domestic and operational waste generated during the normal operation of the vessel and liable to be discharged of continuously or periodically. The garbage categories are defined by IMO as follows:

A. Plastics
B. Food waste
C. Domestic wastes
D. Cooking oil
E. Incinerator ashes
F. Operational waste
G. Animal carcasses
H. Fishing gear
I. E-waste
J. Cargo residues (not Harmful to the Marine Environment)
 K. Cargo residues (Harmful to the Marine Environment)

MARPOL Log

This graph is based on the MARPOL Log tile in PAL → Voyage → Voyage Overview → MARPOL Log (m3)

The amount of the monthly generation and discharge of MARPOL relevant waste such as Oil Water Separator, Sludges and Slops .
