LiveFleet release notes - Version 4.1.17 - 10-Jan-2020

This new version of LiveFleet on the web brings the following new features and improvements.

New Performance Overview page

A new page Performance Overview is now available in the Voyage menu. This is exactly mirroring the content of the Performance Overview from the Performance PAL module.



The label "Beta" is temporarily added to the page name as this is being fine-tuned. The page is currently enabled only for the owner Bernhard Schulte. Once this pilot phase is completed, we will remove the label "Beta". 




Revised menu names

We received feedback from several users mentioning that some menu sections were not always easy to understand. The following changes were made:
  1. PMS changed to Maintenance
  2. Purchase changed to Purchasing
  3. LPSQ changed to Safety & Quality
Below is the new LiveFleet menu.



Option to display the Date of Availability in the Crew Profile

Some Crew Management clients are involved in the planning of seafarers and therefore need to know the date of availability of seafarers on leave

For owners who request this, we can now display the DoA in the Crew Profile.



This option is not available by default and must be configured by your local LiveFleet Officer.

New date picker

We heard from some users that it was not always easy to select periods longer than 2 months with a Custom Range. The Start and End dates can now be selected independently. You can use the left & right arrows to change the month or select the relevant month and year in the drop-down list.



Other fixes and improvements:

  1. When you are in the LiveFleet web app, your browser tab now shows the LiveFleet logo. This makes it easier to identify if you have many tabs open in the same browser window.
  2. When exporting the vessel performance data to Excel or PDF, the RPM column was always blank. This is now fixed.
  3. In the daily email notification from LiveFleet, you will now see 2 buttons to download the LiveFleet mobile app for iOS or Android.
  4. The LiveFleet tile "Insurance Claims" includes links that allow you to drill-down to the details of the incident in the Insurance PAL module. This hyperlink is now disabled if you do not have access to this module.
