LiveFleet release notes - Version 4.1.23 - 12-Jun-2020

This release brings some minor improvements and bug fixes.

Vessel Employment details

In line with the recent improvement made to the Vessel Employment tile in the LiveFleet mobile app, we now updated the information displayed in the Vessel overview on the web.
We removed several fields that were no longer required and added the following details:
  • Hire Amount
  • Earliest & Latest Redelivery date (i.e. Min-Max period)
  • Expected Redelivery date (if available). This is usually known only a few weeks before the end of Employment.


Vessel positions

We worked with our services providers Pole Star and StratumFive to implement several basic validations to help eliminate incorrect positions in our LiveFleet vessel tracker. This should reduce the amount of times you see vessels flying over land.




If you still notice incorrect position reports, please request your local LPSQ team to contact the relevant service provider who will investigate and correct the data at their end. In most cases, this is not under our control.


Financial Reports

  • The formula used to calculate the Variance in the Profit & Loss report was incorrect. We now calculate it as Variance = (Actual - Budget).
  • In some cases, clicking on the Variance Reports in the Financial Reports tile would display the message "No financial reports published", instead of the list of reports published for the selected period. This is now fixed.


LiveFleet integration status in Voyage Activation Report

As some of you pointed out, the Voyage Activation Report in Voyage PAL still included a column "Linked to CWA", which was used until November 2019 to view the date on which the Voyage data was linked to LiveFleet.


As this integration is now set automatically for all vessels, this information is no longer relevant, and the column has been removed. You can find more information about this change in our release notes for LiveFleet Version 4.1.13
